oops, I posted this on the wrong page so will put it here too.
round baling with my hydro 86 the PTO seems to slip some when i hit a big slug. Is there an adjustment that I can make or am I just SOL? Also what is the correct way to engage the PTO? Can I engage it slowly to keep from hurting the driveline or do I just yank it in gear like some schoolboy?

You need apressure guage to check pressure of the clutch pressure and you adjust by screwing the valve that engages the PTO up into the nut at the top of the val;ve where the lever connects.

Definetly engage it in a slow, smooth motion. I'm sure there is an ajustment, just can't remember exactly how right now. It has the same PTO unit as 656, 666, and 686, someone will be able to tell you how to ajust those.

I don't know about an adjustment but slow and easy engagement is the way to go. Things break when ya yank!
