Looking at buying one or the other to restore. How much do they weigh? I have to haul on a trailer or figure a way to tow it about 25 miles.

my old wD-9 weighed in at 8500 with 16-34's with chloride and one set of weights. Took the tires off and put them on my W-9 and it weighed closser to 8000. this should give you some ideas. Depends on how far you need to haul it. Double 7000lb axels on a goose neck trailer should handle it great with a 3/4 ton pickup.

Depending on weights and fluid it could be up to 12,000 lbs. according to Nebraska test records. Mine has no fluid but four rear wheel weights (it came with 8 weights) so we figure it at 8,000 lbs. I just bought a one-ton truck to feel safer when hauling it.

I weighed my wd-9 and with me on it it weighed 8710 lbs. Roughly it weighs 8500 lbs. It has one set of wheel weights. I don't know about the fluid in the tires I just got this tractor and I have not checked that out yet.
