Hello all! Seems to be a lot of Super A questions this morning, and here is another one. I am having some problems with the steering on mine. I posted once beofre and now that I actually have the tractor at the shop and have had a chance to work on it, here is the problem. The steerin works untill it is turned to the extremes and then the wheel just keeps turning. When turned to the right, the gears will actually seperate and the steering will no longer function. I am guesing it is the woodruff key. Or unless it is the gear on the steering rod. I followed the instructions that I recieved from my last post, but I have hit a snag. I removed the front axle, and after fighting to get the nut off that holds the arm on that goes to the tie rods, that small arm would not come off. I tried heating hit and tapping it with a hammer. But I didn't want to hit it to hard being cast. Does anybody have any ideas on how to get this apart and fixed short of replacing the whole steering? Thank you for looking.

You may try using a small puller on the steering arm to get it off.It sounds like the worm gear on the end of your steering wheel rod is broken.
