Has anyone found, or know of, a good way to get a good, snug fit between the governor weights and the pins that hold them in place? I know that new pins will take care of part of the problem, but the holes in the weights seem to be worn also, I know I don't want it too tight, or it won't function properly either. I am talking about the units on an H or M.
I am hoping that someone on this board of great knowledge has found a good poor-mans approach to fixing this problem.

I feel your pain. We have one of those here in this state too. One might reasonably expect that a governer who swore himself to uphold the state constitution might in fact be expected to uphold...whatelse? but the state constitution. Next time try a refreshing change and vote for a third party candidate.

I had a similiar problem with the weights in my distributor. I used my stick welder to fill the holes, filed the welds flat and then drilled a new hole. Maybe this will work on the governor weights. Good luck.
