I see references to the two, what is the difference?

Thanks,

Mark

The best thing is that the narrow F20 will fit on a car trailer, and the wide one needs an equipment trailer with the deck over the tires.

On the Regular-Tread F-20 with standard wheels the rear tread was 74 3/8" wheels in regular position or 83 1/2" with wheels reversed. The Narrow-Tread F-20 rear tread was 62 5/8" with in regular position turned in or 71 3/4" with wheels reversed. Other than the approximately twelve inch narrower rear end, (each axle housing was about 6" shorter) the rest of the tractor was basicly the same. Many different and special rear wheels were available on the F-20. With various different wheels available for the Regular-Tread F-20 minimum tread width ranged from 68" to a maximum of 95". Different wheels available on the Narrow-Tread F-20 had a range of 51" to 83".

Mike - As the name implies the rear wheel spacing on the widetread is considerably greater than that of the NT. Punch below - the rear view of this F20 shows it pretty good...
