Just for interest, I looked thru my Nebraska test results and found the McCormick Deering W-40. I can't find the test for the WK-40. The W-40 was Nebraska test # 269 and tested 48.79 belthp, 35.22 dbhp, 4982 maximum pounds pull @ 2.62 mph, weight as tested 7625 pounds, 3 3/4" x 4 1/2" 298.3 cu in 6 cylinder engine rated @ 1750 rpm. This was on steel and the tractor had a list price of $1305.00.

A nicely restored WK-40 sold this past weekend at a sale I attended here in EC Indiana. Fetched $5000.

"K" means it was set up to run on kerosene (vs the plain W which ran on gasoline). Sorry I can't help on production numbers or current values...
