Which is more desirable, a Farmall A or an International A? Is the International usable for farming? Which one is more collectable? Thanks, Tim

I have one of each. In addition to the front axel and foot feed, there is also a transmission break built into the transmission to aid shifting on the go. Also most IA's were sold wihout a Belt Pully attachment. The gearing is slightly different, the IA is almost undecernably faster is each gear.

IA's can and were used for farming in addition to industrial uses. Implements would fit either tractor.

The International A is more rare. I'm fairly certain all the mounted implements that will fit an Farmall A will fit an International A. I have an International A with a mid-mount disk plow. The only differences are the front axle and the foot throttle, and some cosmetic differences.
