I back with a couple of questions on the 1206. I need to replace the front main crankshaft seal, and it doesn't look to bad until I noticed the pulley has to be put back on at 205 ft lbs. Anybody have any idea's how to stop the motor to tighten it?

Also, my coolant lead broke and the dealer told me I have to replace the whole fuel/coolant gauge cluster. The one they have to replace it doesn't even look like the original at all. Has anybody seen original replacements anywhere?

Thanks for any help.

Thanks guys.

I thought about the pry bar trick but just wanted to double check, I don't need to break the flywheel-too much money in the tractor already.

That timing hole is in the left side of the clutch housing.

There is a timing hole in the right side of the clutch housing, remove the cover and have a helper hold a prybar in the flywheel's ring gear teeth against the clutch housing to keep the engine from turning over while you torque the bolt. You could also do this from the inspection hole in the bottom of the clutch housing. A junkyard might be your best bet for the original black-faced guage.
