Found a Cub lo boy that I might be interested in. Its one of the older ones, red not yellow. has a belly mower and the engine was overhauled a few years ago. But it will not move, not sure if its stuck between gears or what. What should I offer? thanks

I rarely see a loboy for sale, but there were three in my area in the last two weeks. I looked at all of them. Two were yellow and white with belly movers. One with an IH C3 mower (asking price was 2200), the other had a 48" single blade woods mower (2950). This one was junk and couldn't keep it runring when I looked at it. The other was a red one (I could see the first painting was yellow/white) with mower at a dealer asking 3995! Looked worn out. I'm in the Twin Cities of MN area where it seems the prices of cubs are high. Good luck.

I think you should first figure out what is wrong with the tractor, be it, linkage, the clutch or possibly transmission. If you don't, you may take quite a hit by time she's ready to run. The Cubs will bring as much as 3500.00 in some areas and the lo-boy even a little better. Normally thats with decent paint and a good runner. Just my pennies worth.
