I have a 1947 farmall B and it has Champion UD16 sparkplugs in it. Are these the correct plugs for this tractor? What is the correct gap? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

UD 16 plugs are fine, but I prefer Autolite 386 or AC C-87. The "U" in the UD 16 means aux. gap, which is supposed to be better in the older tractors. Thats what the Champion guy said anyways.

Don't have it in front of me, but I think my I&T manual says C 15 plugs...which crosses to D 21

All the old farmalls that I have ran have all used champion D21 plugs. Go to a tractor supply store and check in a service manual to be sure,it will also list the correct gap.
