My 1976 IH 140 has apparently blown an inner seal of some kind as there is oil dripping from a weep hole on the underside of the differential housing.Any tips, info.or guidance on repairing this would be greatly appreciated,Thanks.

It sounds like the seal between final drive and transmission-differential case. Are you sure your transmission is not over full of oil? I would check that before doing anything else. These will leak if transmission is overfull.

Do you mean the hand hole? If it is coming from there you may have a bad rear main seal. If so, the tractor must be split to fix it.

No, its not comming from the hand hole in the bell housing but under the differential housing. There's a small hole at the far left end I didnt even know was there before. It's not rusted through or anything, looks like it belongs there.
