I need to know what it will to take to refresh the pump on my 1950 H. It has an aftermarket 3pt hitch with twin cylinders. Beside leaking badly it blows foamy oil out of the vent on the pump fill cap when I lower an implement. It lifts fine just the leak and whatever makes the oil foam need fixing. The foaming happens with non-detergent oil and I have bled the cylinders.

Phil,

I'm going to do the same proceedure on the pump from my '44 H this fall. I have looked over the manual and while there are a lot of parts, it doesn't seem to me to be a huge job. Based on info from other here on the forum, the springs, bearings, seals and gaskets are still available from IH. Let me know how it turns out for you.
