Just got my first 1960 cub and ran fine for 1 week and now it will not move! I am able to move from 1st,2nd,3rd,and reverse without using the clutch and no grinding but nothing happens, is it the clutch or hole transmission. (fluid levels are fine)

Chris, sounds like the joint came apart at trans end.bolts to front of trans then goes to the flywheel.put tractor in gear then try starting without cluch depressed, this should try to walk the tractor as starter is running?

Try the connection between the tranny and the clutch. I am not sure on the cub but there should be an access cover you can remove and perhaps fix it from. -Greg

I do think there is an acces from the bottom. will I need to empty the fluid? I know this is a dumb question, just not much of a mechanic.

If there is an access panel just for the clutch
housing, you shouldnt need to drain anything. Of course, if you are opening the tranny from the bottom, you will get oil :) -Greg
