Does anyone have an idea what it should cost to replace a TA on a 656 Farmall?

Eldon: One other item I forgot to mention is the rebuilt units will have a 5 year unconditional guarentee. You can judge for yourself what that is worth to you. I have seen a few of those personal rebuilds, seems you never hear much about them afterwards. I did catch one guy with his tractor apart again 2 months later. Never did quite find out for sure just what he was doing second time around. Was quite a guarded secret.

I've spent as little as $150 for a few worn rollers, pins and gaskets to $550 for a complete rebuilt unit. Did the labor myself with an IT manual. Well worth the cost either way.

Eldon: I saw this last evening, I didn't respond then as I don't know the exact cost. If you have a current copy of Red Power Mag there are always adds in there for rebuilts. They may have a listing here under parts at top left. I cant remember specifics but I think these rebuilt units are in the $400. to $800. range. You will of course have your labour on top of that.
