Anyone know of a source for the gray paint used on early F12's that comes in spray cans? Is there a close match out there? Thanks in advance, Zak

Van Sickle sells Farmall Gray in spray cans, but it is special order, so they sell it by the case only.

Thanks for the info all. I've contacted Van Sickle and am awaiting their price quote (hopefully not too high!). Zak

try www.towerpaint.com, the Tower Paint Company just might do any paint with a sample. they sell custom spray cans, with a special fan spray head, they are expensive but the best. They do auto, I don't know if they do tractor stuff but believe that they can custom match any paint.

I just picked up a small paint sprayer from NAPA for about $5.00. You mix up your paint in a small jar and it uses a small aerosol can for propellant. I used one last night to touch up the bolts/nuts. I had to thin the paint quite a bit to get it to spray right. Used up one can of propellant so just went and picked up two more. I would not want to try this on the hood or grill but looks ok on cast parts. I was able to get a little of the left over paint from the guy who painted my tractor so it matches. Looks a lot better than having chipped paint or silver bolt heads.

No one, you'll have to have it mixed.
