I found an 1206 in a salvage yard today. they just got it in not long ago and it had (1206) gold emblems, on the side panels, the 1206 emblems were like my 706 & 806 diesels but were gold not silver. My 1206 has white numbers on it. Are these gold numbers rare? These were the first I have seen, so had to buy them along with the whole side panels. I 'am suprised they were still on it, most the time when a yard gets a tractor like that, it stripped in a few days. Had to pay a pretty gold penny also.

I have literally looked at 100's of 1206's over the years and the real low serial # ones are the only ones I have seen with the white decal 1206.The rest all had gold 1206 emblems. My 1966 and 1967 1206's both have the gold 1206 emblems.

the gold emblems are for the 1966 and 1967 1206 tractors the white stick on letters that are on your 1206 are only used on the 1965 1206. would love to have your serial #. the 1206 tractors were produced in 1965,1966 and 1967. hope this helps.
