I have a Fairchild "Seventy-07" Super 8 mm sound projector that came from an International Dealer with films from the late 70s. I got it out the other day and found the drive wheel that turns the film loop disc has turned to mush, haven't been able to come up with anything that works to replace it yet. Anybody have experience, parts, advice? Thanks

Bob, if you haven't already, you might try eBay. It's amazing what all shows up on there.

Bob, If you live anywhere near a Govt. Surplus store or GSA site, you might try them. The Military Recruiters used the same projector during that era to entice potential recruits to join after watching a few movies of the services in action! Of course they never showed someone cleaning urinals or commodes, it was always some Tom Cruise look alike flyin his F14 and breaking the sound barrier.

You may be able to pick up a whole projector for next to nothing. Good luck.//FB

FB, Thanks for the suggestion, I knew someone else must have used this type of machine. Bob
