I have a F20 with a Zenith carb and wondered the correct settings for this. It seemed like it was getting alot of black smoke out the exhaust.I tried messing with it(not knowing what I was doing) and now you shut the fuel off to shut it off and getting fire out the exhaust before it dies. Any clues? Thanks, Mark

The setting is 1and 41/64, with flaot on base and turned upside down. Is your idle jet circuit clean? It almost sounds like you are trying to idle off the load circuit instead of idle circuit. Yet you must be sure that it is not flooding over first. Which in this instance sounds like your problem

check to see if you have the plug wires correct. Possible that the middle two are switched.
