I own a international 3414 tractor with a troublesome hydraulics system. I have replace the main pump wich seemed to help, but I still lose power as the machine warms up, Having absoulutely no knowledge of hydraulics. I would appreciate any and all kwowagable imput. I also need to find out where to find the identifing numbers on this tractor, again all help will be greatly appreciated

If it is losing hydraulic power as it warms up, seems to me that somewhere there is a worn o-ring. As the oil warms and gets thinner, it allows more to pass through than when it is colder and thicker.

I own a 3414 loader/backhoe diesel, wondering if you might know the total approximate weight, trying to buy a trailer, know for fact a 10,000 lb bottoms out on the springs, Thanks so much

Oring leak is possible but not very likely, sounds like hyd pump still not putting out enough pressure, usually heat will expand main housing of pump because its aluminum, steel gears will not expand as much, this tolerance is very critical to pressure. This is normal complaint in systems when they are warmed up. 3414 was a IH Construction Equipment only, AG dealers usually couldnt sell them. It was a good machine in its day, way ahead of competition, it has to 40 years old, I delivered them new in the mid 60s. I would at least try new Hytran & filter, this needs to be done yearly anyway.
