I always like swimming in the ocean and just floating on the waves. The traffic is so bad now. Our daughter went to NC for a week. It took 5 1/2 hours to go down. It took over 10 coming back do to accidents on the Interstates. Do to some Army bases closing in NJ and some other states they're moving 53,000 people into this area. I like those crab cakes and shrimp. Hal

Living near this ares my understanding is
that the whole valley that rt 655 from
Reedsville to Millcreek is considered the
Big valley and it is.State College is to the north
and Lewistown is to the South. The Belleville Livestock sale is a widely attended sale on Wednesdays lot of vacationers there in summer.
By the way i was in your great state of Maryland on vacation.

I'm not far from PA or Delaware. My wife is from
Perry county PA. That calendar has some beautful pictures taken in that area. Did you eat any MD crabs while you were in MD? I like the crab cakes better. My wife buys the crab meat when its on sale and makes 8 good size crab cakes. I like the Old Bay seasoning on them too.

Here's a picture taken at the Willow Valley Smorgasboard on the outskirts of Lancaster PA. It was taken on Mother's Day. Hal

I can't see the pic, just a red X, but out here in my neck of the woods is Amish country too, and I although I am sure I am biased, I would swear that this area (Chautauqua/Cattaraugus counties, NY) has some of the most beautiful spots anywhere in the world. Hal, come and visit some time, I'll show you around and you can make your own calendar!

I can send you an email with the picture. We were up through that area back in the 1950's even saw those big fields of Buckwheat. I liked
planting that in the garden to crowd out weeds. It made the soil nice too. Hal

Believe it or not, one could take pictures just like that in NE Iowa or SW Minnesota too.

I don't think the copy I made was as good as the original. I should've taken a picture of it with a digital camera and then downloaded it. All of these pictures are very pretty. Do you live near Ottertail or New York Mills MN? I restored
5 or 6 Standardtwin garden tractors back in 1970's
and I bought parts from that area. I had a Viking too. Hal

Most of those pictures were taken in Mifflin county. Is Big Valley in the same county? Looks the same. Hal
