I went the other day to look at a 52 H and am going today to look at a 47 M. The H is rough and needs all 4 tires and wiring, but runs nice for $500 and I just got an H frame that has tires on the rear. I will see about the M, it comes with a loader and a pull type bushog with new blades but he wants 2000. I may have to start selling off cars as I am low on parking here!

Boy oh Boy! Well the M looks pretty bad for what he wants for it, but I have to say it ran like a top! He let me try out the bushhog in a patch of grass across the road and it did ok and the loader works nice but there are leaks in the plumbing. It has a Charlynn PS set up on it too. It looks to me like it has sat outside for a few years. It was converted to 12v with alternator and the hood is off and not cut up. He is selling it because he had a stroke a few years ago and after he fell off his Oliver(twice) he decided it was time to let things go. He said it hadn't been started in two weeks and I would think it fired up on the first half crank! It had about 70 lbs oil pressure , but there was a clunking sound I couldn't locate, it was faint but you could feel it. He said it had been doing that since he bought it in the early 90s. Tires were ok but I doub't they would take a road trip of 30 miles which is where I would have to drive it. I thought the price of $2250 is high, what do you guys think?

I sold my old junk cars to make more room for tractors and garden here around the house. Well I still have a couple of old cars. I had to keep mamaw's 74 Maverick, and her 60 Falcon since they are both original all the way around.

I had a 74 Maverick once with a V8 in it. There was not an inch of space under the hood but it had good power. Water pump went out once and I did not want to tackle the job. I took it to a repair shop and the guy almost begged me to take it somewhere else.

Mine has the 250 6 banger in it. I have seen them with V-8s and there isn't any room under there for sure.
