Can some one tell me why i have hydraulic fluid leaking out of the clucth housing? I an thinking it is the power steering pump causing it. Is there any other cause for this (mcv valve maybe?) before i tear into this? Thanks,
Randy

Should have said this before... When driving down the road the steering wheel keeps turning counter clock wise. Like it is loosing pressure ??? does this make any difference??
Thanks,
Randy

They all have some WHEEL SLIP some slip to the righ and some slip to the left , as long as it is not maken more then as the book sayes 4 RPM a min your fine if it is then ya have to do a couple tests to figure where all the SLIP is comming from . But that has nothing to do with the drip out of the bell housing as all steering lines are on the OUTSIDE .

Like the other guy said Ft. PTO input seal leak , now this can be cause by two things (1) the IDPTO ft. bearing is heading out to lunch , (2) the splines on the IDPTO input shaft are about half wore out and causen the shaft to wobbel . Like said tractor has to be split to fix takes about 4-5 hours if ya know what your doing to split and have back up and running with all the littel tricks that one learns over the years and has all the neat tools . Now if the splines on the input are woren then it is also wise on your part to replace the clutch and pressure plate and ALL the bearing while your there as if the splines are half wore out the the slines in the pressure plate are also wore and a new input and seals are only a band aid as IT will start leaking again before long. So if ya have to put a clutch in it the flywheel also has to be GROUND and the step on the flywheel has to be cut to keep everything in order.

Your oil leak is from the front TA seals or the engine rear main seal, you will have to split the tractor either way.
