Turn both of those screws in until they are lightly seated, and then turn the idle mix out 1 1/2 turns. The load screw is turned out 3 full turns. That info used to be included in the kit. The better quality kits still do include it.

Hey Tom, sorry to hear about your eng. problem but glad it wasn't internal, flywheel bolt is an easy fix as opposed to crank or bearings. Did the place in Darlington have a lot of parts in stock?

I hope you got all the beads out if it!!!!!

I have seen that discussed on this forum a bunch of times...try a search and see what comes up.

I got my own idea but you are calling for the "correct" answer the first time.

I went to Darlington...then turned around and came almost back to McBee before I found the road you gave me. I took off cross country...in the sticks I am telling you...ran by the place twice...finally found it...a shop building at a personal dwelling..no sign. I bought several parts and a good price but was unable to get manifold. They quoted me $135.00 and would have to get one in.

Good luck with the adjustment. When you figure it out, write it down cause I will need it soon.
