i seen a perfectly restored H v high crop..... it was a distalate modle and i was wondering how rare are they? i know they made 800 and some h high crops how many were duel fuel? were more gas only or distalate? how much would one in perfect restored better then new condition be worth? i'm thinking more than 20 grand???? what do you guys think?

The high dollar one is the Stage 2 Super HV, not the HV you saw. How much is it worth -- I have no idea, but not cheap. Most of the H's, HV's, M's MV's made in the early-mid 1940's were kerosene or distillate. Actual production numbers don't exist anymore. I don't know that that makes them any more or less valuable. A distillate/kerosene Super HV would be somewhat unusual, as most of those were for export. By that time nearly all farmers preferred gas.
