On an F-12 Power Lift, how do you remove the pin/peg that holds the seat bracket on? I need to get this off so can replace the stripped bolts that hold the seat brackets together. It looks like it should remove to the right side? And will it need some heat from a torch? Thanks, Dan

Yeah it can be a pain. Pull both cotter pins. I used a long bar that will fit through the hole in the support to start the pin moving toward the left. Then I went to the left side and did the same. There is no hole on the left side so you have to strike the pin at an angle. I also applied some Kroil to loosen things up. By moving the pin back and forth, you break the rust bond and can get a pair of vise grips on the right end and finally twist it out. I didn't have to use any heat. Just got to be persistant! Hope this helps.

Thanks David. Just want to make sure I'm heading in the right direction, before I start banging on things!
