I am looking for the complete throttle linkage assembly to make my MD back to original. It was dismantled about 10 years ago and the parts have since disappeared. It currently has a solid shaft that goes from a handle by the diesel lever directly to the pump. If anyone is parting out a MD and has one send me an email. it can be wore cause I will redo all the pins and holes to make it like new. thanks

What you have sounds about correct. There is no "throttle" on a diesel. The lever you describe was on my 48 MD. It had no components even similar to a Gas throttle. Look at the parts diagrams on caseih.com for the proper parts. JimN

I am looking for the stock linkages that start by the steering wheel and continue down under the hood and through the slip clutch and then on to the injection pump here is a pic of what I currently have and if you look close it is nothing like the stock setup.

I modified it for tractor pulling thinking it would be the next best thing since sliced bread. Turned out that was not the case.
