I have learned today that there are two different styles of motor mounts for H. The solid steel kind and the two piece kind with rubber bushing in it. The frame set up to work the two piece type will not receive the solid steel type. The holes in the rails are too narrow. So, I wasted my effort, with the solid steel ones.

So, I am back to square 1. I am missing 1/2 of one mount. The other one is good. So, if anyone has a two piece motor mount on hand, I would like to hear from you.

i knew a guy who had a h cant rember the year but it had the rubber style mounts and the engine sagged and you could no longer crank start it as the crank would not engage as the motor was to low! had to pull it! flywheel was bad
