I have a F-14 that I would like to put a wide front end on. Are any of the other farmall wide front ends correct for the F-14 or will only a F-12 or F-14 wide front end work. Every once in a while I see people claim the wide front off a Farmall A will work. Any answers would be appreciated.

$3K is closer to going rate. And that might not include wheels. In other words, the WFE costs more than most restored F-12s.

I have a F12 with a wide front and agree with what someone else here said that the A front end will not work unless cobb job is your goal. A wide font in repairable condition is easily worth 1500. I heard they were asking 1800 in Portland a few years ago. The front off a F12 should go on a F14.

Hank,
I happen to know where an F-12 wide front is and have considered purchasing that tractor and another with a narrow front as well. If you would be interested in buying the wide front I will check into purchasing both tractors and selling the parts to you and/or others. I asked on this forum what the value of a wide front was about 3 weeks ago and was told anywhere from 750.00 to 1500.00 depending on condition. I do not know the exact condition yet but I can find out in the next week. You can e-mail me if you are interested. Price would be negotiable. I am in Illinois.
Thanks, Lee

If the wide front is good, its worth much more than $1500.

Good luck finding one. they are extremely rare. Farmall A one won't work.

I have a wide front F-14 and I don't see any way a Farmall A wide front would work. I know that anything's possible but to my knowledge it would not work. Good luck finding a wide front unless you have one already!

Thanks Mike, that is kind of what I figured, and yes I know F-14 wide front ends are very scarce. Thanks!
