Well, Gentlemen, I would like to invite you all to a Farmall H bonfire! I just can't seem to win. I got a new harness and figured it out ,installed it and took it for a spin out in the steet and low and behold the clutch was acting up. It wasn't working which is pretty hairy driving up to a garage with no outlet.
So I got out my just new owner's manual and check underneath at the inspection hole and found yellow fuzz. Now I am new to Tractors but I was sure they didn't insulate the inside of the clutch for temp. or sound.
I opened up the panel and found a mangled shirt all wrapped around in there. Apparently when I stuffed the starter hole to keep dirt out for cleaning I left it in there. I am my own worst Enemy .
So now I must pay homage to the Tractor Gods. and drink a couple frosty ones and see what if I can create more work for my self. Peace!

HEY!

Don't worry about it! You have provided nesting material for the mice that will inevitably move in there, sooner or later!

I had one pass me once. The axle on my 1978 Bronco broke flush with the bearing. Just a few minutes before that I had a fertilize buggy with 6 tons of urea hooked to it.

Oh well....just before my trip out of state, I changed oil in my S-10. I drained the oil and then poured 4 quarts back in. I just could not figure out why I could hear oil splashing on something...forgot to put the plut in the pan...then, after that, I was on the way smiiling and ready to go...then I began to hear noises...I turned the A/C off and it quit..so, out and under the hood I went...there I found the funnel that I used to put the oil in scrubbing against the A/C pulley--the funnel was toast but otherwise no harm.

So, I guess, maybe, oh I forgot what I was going to say...(infected with the age virus and cannot remember anything)

A Spotted Cow goes down good while contemplating/viewing red iron. Glad you didn"t put an outlet in your garage!
