Proof of a Super H-TA

Here is the proud owner of the "Hugh Special" (and his lovely wife) this is the super rare H-TA. This proves without a doubt that Super H-TA's do exist.

Comfortable tractor, car, chair, shop, bank account, heck at a given time comfort comes ahead of passion.

I doubt anyone has denied the existence of an SHTA, however, no amount of pictures can prove that IH built one for resale. They are garage built using H tin and 300 TA frame. They are far less rare than the SBNVD"s are.

From that perspective, anything anyone can do to make ugly 00, 30-50 and 40-60 series tractors look better, I'm with them.

No it's definitely not the fact that some folks have actually built HTAs that annoys me. Rather, it's some hot shot coming along once a month thinking he knows all, and declaring that IH built and sold an SHTA. When I came to YT, I had decent knowledge of the tractors I'd farmed with, however there was then and still are a lot of things I don't know. Back then I spent 3 months brushing up on things I didn't know or had forgotten, before I posted a single post. I still read a lot more that I post. SHTA should be one of the easiest finds in the archives, thus when someone comes along asking the question, or making the declaration on HTA, you know right away he's too damn lazy to do a bit of reading. Further you also notice when that same individual get involved in other threads, he reads only the answers he wants to hear.
