Howard: They never made an H or a Super H with a T/A. (This comes up about 6 times a year on this forum.) Some individuals have made their own out of Farmall 300's or 350's, by grafting components with those of an H or Super H. They are neat machines, but IH never made them. mike

Actually, there was at least one authentic super H TA built. IH built it as a test mule for the torque amplifier that was soon to be introduced on the new 300s. Might even have been more than just the one, but the test tractors were then dismantled. No super HTA was ever allowed to leave the testing grounds.

Mike: Rather conservative I think, probably more like 24 times per year. Farmall page usually has 10 to 16 pages of discussion, (two week supply) more than once I've seen it twice on the 10 to 16 pages at same time. The HTA discussion once made it 3 times on the 10 to 16 pages.

Gary: Just proves what a cop once told me, "no one reads anymore, I'm going to let you off, Mr. MacKay." He had clocked me doing 58 in a 50 zone. This section road had been the old main highway between Halifax and Truro NS. When they opened the new 4 lane, the old highway got down graded from 60 to 50 mph. It had been my first time on it since the down grade, and indeed I turned on about the middle. I pointed that out to him and the fact there was no speed sign between here and where I turned on. He said, "Oh yes there is, back by the park." I informed him the sign by the park said, "It is unlawful to dump garbage on the highway, $100. fine."

With that he backed off big time, said, " your right." I bet you liked running across guys like me, during your days in Michigan. A month later a neighbor tried the same approach, problem was he was doing 68 mph. Must have been the same cop, as he asked him if he knew me. "MacKay didn't tell you it had to be under 60 to get away with it."
