while i have been waiting for my engine servise manuel you guys have been great! i'm gonna be looking for a worn out part that runs both the fuel pump and the mag drive. I wont know what is wrong until i get in there. as long as i got the radaitor out i will flo test it and replace the thermostat. Sorry nat2 if you think i was repeating myself as i was only tring to answer other questions they had about my problume. you guys are great and thanks for putting up with a rookie like me. i have worked on car trannys before and some engine work. tractors are new to me especally this gas to diesel engine. thanx again every one. i will let you all know what i find! even you nat2! i might even tell you twice!

Please don't take my reply the wrong way. I'm just trying to help you make your time here more productive.

If you're replying to someone else's question, then reply to their post. Don't start a new thread and lead off with the same exact question you've already asked at least twice in other threads.

Look, I want people to like you and help you with your problem, not think of you as an annoying pain in the rump. Hate me if you want for pointing it out to you, but keep asking the same thing over and over, and people are going to get annoyed with you. Then how are you going to get your tractor fixed?

If its the cam gear I would install the camgear from the Super MD. Hal

May be thinking of some other post,but I think he posted once before that tractor is a 51 model. If so it has the same cam gear as a SMD,400D or 450D.

The caseih web sight has parts diagrams on line. Co to caseih.com and look under search for parts.
then type in the words farmall M then choose MD from that list, then choose diesel engine. then front of crankcase. This takes you to the drive components of all front gears. Good luck, JimN
