I have a uni-versal wide front. It says on top "if its not a uni-versal... rest cant read. But it says on the tag MODEL IHC H 56 followed by a serial number. Does any one know who made it? i have never seen another one like it.

Looks like my norden widefront. I have two nordens both on 560's gas and deisel and are a good heavy frontend. They were made in Russell Ks. Swartz bought them out years ago. I found a salvage yard in western Ne.,between Sidney and the Wy. border that had a new spindle still in the box at a really good price. I cant remeber their name right now. Its the same as the town.

It looks like the Swartz on my Farmall H. The bracket on the bolster and side rails is different though.

By the way... where can a feller get parts for these Swartz?

A&I after market still manufactures Swartz wide fronts. They also carry all the parts for them. Just Google A&I to find a dealer near you.

Here is a shot of a Schwartz - the Speeco and Norden were similar...

Dunno but there was a speeco at on time. also schwartz. Schwartz is a good front end. I like them better than the ih.

Schwartz and Speeco are now one and the same. There was also a Norden? wide front.

ok Norden I think one of my old M's had that. But its been gone for 25 years. The Front end sat out in front of the radiator about 8 inchs or so. And it didnt have the saddle like an ih or schwartz.

We have a Norden front end on the front of our "use to be" narrow front 544. That Norden unit is built like a brick sh*t house!
