1945 A axle seal blew (LR) how much work and approx. cost? and should I do both L & R while it is raised?

Not too difficult to do. I'm not sure of the cost for the seals and gaskets you need. Probably on the order of $100 for both sides. If you do both sides, I suggest one at a time, as the these offset tractors get a bit unstable when both rear wheels, etc are removed at the same time. Basic sequence it rmove wheeel and hub, remove final drive pan, remove 4 bolts from seal holder/axle bearing retainer at outside end, remove axle cover on inside of final drive, remove axle retainer bolt and drive the axle out. Put something under the bull gear to keep it from falling out. Best to get a service manual and parts catalog so you can see how things go.
