what models will the front hub{where the bearings reside} fit on an 49 h ?

I think the entire lower bolster is only for the H/Super H, possibly the 300 and 350. I do not think they interchange with the M, certainly not the C. As to early and late, or optional (variable spacing) wheels, bearings, etc for the H bolster, I can't answer that. But, look up the H in the parts portion of www.caseih.com and compare part numbers, that is the way to find out.

thanks i looked up the bearings it showed the same number for the h and m but the hub numbers are different i was just wondering if it was just a number thing with farmall and the hubs would still interchange like i said thank CNKS

I haven't looked them up, but if the NUMBERS are the same, they will fit. The suffix is downward compatible with the earlier version. In other words if the M has an R2 suffix, and the H an R1, the R2 will fit the H. However, I am not sure that R1 can replace R2 in all instances. Anyway the bolt patterns on the H attaching pad to the upper bolster for the H and M are different, that would account for the different numbers.
