With my vintage tractor purchase I got an 8 foot pull behind disc. Examining the disc I found that the disc axle supports had IH markings, (IH - P930 L and IH - P931 R). So I assume it is an IH disc. There don't appear to be any other markings on the disc. It has one major problem: the rachet lock for one side of the disc is cracked. It would be nice if I could: (1) Identify the model #, and (2) Get a users manual for this disc, (if one exists). I have tried to post some pictures using photobucket. Any inputs would be appreciated.

ed, disk looks to be in good shape from the photo. take the rachet to a welding shop, they can fix it right up for ya. check the gang bearings, be sure they turn easy, pump some grease in them. with the levers all the way back the disk is in transport position, it will roll along without cutting in, the further foreward you set them the more the disk will cut. you overlap your passes one set of gangs when disking with this type of disk. thats about all i know, others can add some wisdom too!!!
