I have two PTO"s one is a older style without the cap on top and the one that is on the tractor that has the cap. The instruction manuals are about as clear as mud on how to adjust each one. I do not have the special tool for the new style - and it is slipping right now. Is there a trick to adjust it with out the tool - still on the tractor?

The first one i had for the new style i made and it worked well , made it from a picture and tweeked it to work . Now keep in mind that ya can not swap one for the other as the gearing is not the same. If ya have a I T manual just set down and read it over .
