Hey Bob M,
Thanks for the wiring digram for my os-6.Like I said before, the voltage regulator is missing. What I need to know is,do I just ask for a VR for a six volt system with a generator & distributor?
This is all new to me.Thanks for your patience, Don.

Don - Tractor Supply will have 'em in stock. Or inquire at NAPA, etc. or at your local starter/generator shop. Just ask for a regulator for a Super H/Super M, as they may not be one cataloged for the OS-6.

Like Jim mentions below be sure to polarize after hooking up and before starting the first time. Simply jumper between the BAT and GEN terminals at the regulator for an instant and you're done!

Tell the NAPA person what tractor you have. If you are setting it up as it was made, it must be a positive ground 6v Delco style. Most NAPAs have the books. The distributor has no bearing on the purchase. Look up John T generator trouble shooting in the archives (search for) and follow the polarizing info. JimN
