The u joint in the steering is still original (non replaceable )but is getting loose. Can I get 2 yolks like on a C & a replaceable joint that will work? I haven't checked with the IH dealer as he is 30 miles away.

Is the exsisting joint welded at each end? You might consider a Automotive IMPACT U-joint.You might have one with the socket end broken that would work just fine. The plain black oxide finish leaves the tool steel easy to work with. You can drill it,grind it and tap it.Do not use the chromed as they are brittle and HARD.CENTAUR
