I was wanting to get some help identifing this mower and subsoiler. I am fairly certain the mower is a model 31.

I finally got a Farmall M from a neighbor about six months ago. He gave me the mower and subsoiler then. I never went and got them until the other day. About 3 weeks ago the man I got the M from suddenly past away. The M actually belonged to this man"s uncle and he inherited it from him. I worked out a trade for the M after asking him for years to sell it. Anyway, while I was there getting the mower and subsoiler I took some photos of some other old equipment that had been abandoned on the farm. I thought someone might enjoy seeing them. There"s (what"s left of them) a grain drill, two binders, and the wheels from a manure spreader.

Thanks for the info on the mower and subsoiler. I haven"t posted much but I read every night and have learned alot. The knowledge I have gained will come in handy as I restore the M, the family owned H and a Super H stage 2 I recently purchased. Thanks again.

Where are these at? The first picture of the binder shows a bundle carrier that I wouldn't mind adding to my binder when I get to restoring it. They are hard to come by, and I was figuring that I would have to build one using the parts book pictures.

ChasK: I live in North East Tennessee. I'm about 20 minutes from Bristol, if you know Nascar you have heard of Bristol. Anyway let me know because the family will be removing that stuff from the property soon due to the man's death. Thanks for sharing info with me. For some reason I feel like what few times I have posted no one seems interested in sharing. Have a good one.

The mower looks to be a model 31. I don't know about the subsoiler, but would like to have one like it myself. That is a great pile of junk.(according to my wife)
