George, did you get your 450D fixed yet? What broke...just wondered.
Got mine out over the weekend...gotta fix that transfer pump leaking into the injector pump housing one of these days.
Now I see I got a hyd leak up under the hood somewhere...oh well...been a little bore lately anyway.
Hope you get yours going.

No, I haven't torn into it yet. I have two in the shop now, so I will wait until I get those two out before I work on it. I cut some hay a couple days ago, and going to cut more as soon as the dew dries off a little today. My pump leaks after shuting tractor down. Never leaks a drop while running. I am going to go over it pretty good when I get to it. New paint and all. I have several other tractors to use so I am not in a real big hurry. Long as the Super C,M and 666 is going I can run. My 350D is ahead of the 450 on this ever growing list of broken stuff. I am putting new rings and injector work on it. I could use it to mow with and bale to as far as that goes. It runs for more than 2 days on a tank of fuel.(17 gallons)

Yeah...I have a 350DU dad had. Haven't done a lot with it. It hates to start...seems like it looses prime someway. Once it gets going it runs fine...except the PS leaks like crazy. I have another PS unit in the shop I will put on it when I pull it in. The 450D is first as I use it to shred (bushhog to some folks).
Haven't done a lot with the tractors as I just bought an old house and been working on it a lot.
Maybe when I get back from the Indiana visit this Summer I can get to them. Never plan a lot in the Summer till I get back from up there...got to be ready for the unexpected. Have a good one and good luck on the tractor. Let us know what you find.

My 350 has alway's tarted very well. It just got to missing to bad with that bad injector, I had to do something with it. It was starting to use a bit of oil too. It hasn't been overhauled since 1974, so it is a good time to do a good one on it.
