I'm going to have a custom trailer made, just to hual Farmalls. What I need to know is the weight disribution, front and rear. In other words, with a SMTA, no weights, how much of the 5800 lbs is on the rear, and how much on the front (narrow). Anyone ever weighed their tractor front and rear on a scale? Does anyone know where the longitudinal CG is on average?

Gordo.

Gordon: I used to know these numbers, however that was many moons ago. I think tpull has it about dead on for C or SC. The H and M without added weight are going have a bit higher percentage on front axle, probably closer to 40 front and 60 rear. You can safely figure on somewhere between 1/3-2/3 and 40-60.

My super C with no weights is about 1/3 front weight,2/3 rear.
