How do you put seal's in the back hub's on a
W-6?
also, how do the brake's work in those can's on front of the axle, & not on it, (kinda wierd)?
The seal around the PTO is leaking too,
and also someone made a rod with a curl in it to pull the hold on the rear brake's, thinking of taking it off, look's like a pig's tail?\
Alot of thing's to find on this six,
But,,, I guess that's what make's it fun Still looking for a Massey V8 for a good price,
I don't know about that 97 Massey though?
That's kind of a tricky one at best,
tempting ,,, Yes,
But,,,, In reality?
I just dont know,
I knew a guy that ran one yrs ago , and he said he had to really steer wide out of a field cause the front end was so narrow.
still looking for hyd part's for the six,

Kirk,
You need some manuals for that W6. The brakes work because they are on the shafts comming out of the differential and the pinions on that shaft drive the bull gear on the axle. Diagrams and such are essential. The pigtail is probably a keeper. Setting that brake flipper is a contortionests bad dream. Someone made a helper (quite common and desirable)make a better rod if yours looks shabby, but it is useful and in character. Good luck with it, Pictures are worth a thousand words. JimN
