Tan67, no need to worry.

I was just wondering out of curiousity why you have a hard time spelling? Is it unfamilarity with the keyboard? Is your native tongue not English? Do you have literacy issues? Do you just not feel the need to check your work? I'm being honest here and am trying to better understand the situation. We'll try the best we can to help ya out, just bear with us.

Jay is not trying to be mean here. My wife is a retired Remedial Reading Treacher. I used to help her check her students homework. Sometimes all it takes is a caring person to offer their time. My youngest son needed help. There is a differrence between being in a hurry, and not being able to spell. Not something to be ashamed of.

EXACTLY Gene. There is a big difference between just beings a fool and always hurrying and never checking what you typed for some resembalance of making sense.
I would not fault anyone for not natively speaking english. This is the Internet and the world is a big diverse place. All types of folks are welcome here, especially ones with a love of tractors.
I do realize that alot of older folks, older farmers as well, may have never had the opportunity to learn reading and writing when they were younger. Alot of folks had to quit school to help the family and that is very commendable and I believe is part of the motivation for teaching adults who cant read to do so.

Knowing your situation would help us to understand, and help you. Saying someone is "stupid" without knowing their situation, or making fun of them is just plain ignorant and shouldnt be tolerated.

Jay, it seems to me that his spelling has gotten some better. I have a son that is so high strung he doesn't take time to think about what he does, much less about his spelling. He is sharp as a tack, just in a hurry all the time. I am hoping he will out grow this. I don't think it serves well to alway's be on this guy's case about his spelling. After all this is the tractor channel, not the spelling channel. I know folks that can fix anything and count their money who can't spell their name or read at all.
