George, saw your recently posted flipped over 666 in the pictures file. Your caption said your son flipped it over. Is he okay? What happened?

I wish I had a better picture, but I don't have a scanner, I took a picture of a kodak picture to post it. That is why it is so fuzzy. A neighbor wanted to know who I was going to get to turn it back over, and I told him me and the M would do it. He thought the M was to small for this. It had no trouble at all. You can't see it in the picture, but we put a roll of hay on the 684 and 1000 lbs of front weights and hooked chains to the upper wheel to hold the tractor as I pulled it over with the M. The old M dragged the 684 with the brakes locked and the 666 right over. I have a whole set of pictures showing start to finish of this. We done ot in slow motion trying not to tear up the tractor any worse.

You need to get a digital camera and a scanner. Those cameras take beautiful pictures. Here's one of a magneto's magnets. Hal

Hal, one thing at a time. I do have a digital camera, but no scanner yet. It is like a lot of other things, it is on the list. At the time of the roll over I didn't have the camera yet. I took those pics with a disposable camera. I think I need a set of main bearings for that 450 now, so the list grows.

What kind of camera? Some of them will download stright to your computer. My Canon wont, but my wifes Kodak will. I have a card reader for my camera, cost about 30 bucks.

John the one I have is a Kodak easy share I got at Wal-Mart. It down loads right to the computer with no problem. The problem with the pics of the over turned tractor was I didn't have one at the time. I just took pics of the pics. The ones from the easy share are bright and clear after being down loaded to the computer. El Toro has sent me info on posting straight to the forum, but I haven't tried to figure all of it out yet.

With that digital camera you can download your pictures directly from your printer to your computer. You would need a Memory Card for your camera and a port on your printer. Hal

I don't have a printer yet either. I do down load pics directly to the computer from the camera.

If you have your pictures stored under My Pictures
you need to copy them over to My Documents for posting on the forum. Click on "copy this file"
under My Pictures. I'm planting tomatoes so I had better get back to work. Hal

Yes, he was a very lucky young man. He was hauling fire wood in the bucket. He was running to fast and had the loader up to high. This was Ferbury 2006. The ground had started thawing that morning and insteard of him going straight across the bottom, he went around the edge of field on the only slope in the field. The rear end slid just a little, then caught an old plow furrow and just went over. He walked home and was balling, scared to death. I ask what was wrong and all he would say is your going to kill me. I ask again and he told me what had happened. I said I hadn't killed him yet, so I doughted I would now. All he seemed worried about was that old tractor. He kept saying come on dad I couldn't get it shut down. He didn;t realize it would run out of fuel shortly and it did. I kept telling him as long as he wasn't hurt or dead we could replace the tractor, but it didn't help much, he was sure the tractor was ruined. It cost about 350.00 to get it going again, new seat, steering wheel and muffler and batteries. It didn't even bend the hood up much. He was very lucky that day.
