Cub Carb leakage

I took off the carb and cleaned it trying to get the tractor running. (It ran good last year)When I put the carb back on with a new gasket, it leaks between the 2 sections of the carb. I have taken it off and put it back on several times and cannot get the leak to stop. It's like it is warped or something. Is it possible to double gasket or put some other gasket in there to stop it or do I need a new carb? Thanks
Gus

Go to this site and it will tell you more things to fix your carb than you will ever want to know.

The float/needle and seat may be leaking, or adjusted too high causing gas to be trying to get out of the gasket. Check thew flatness of the components (maybe sand to flat), and check float operation. JimN

Thanks, I'll see if the float is hanging up or something.

Denny, The carb site you mentioned did not create a hyperlink to link to. What is the name of it or what is the address. Thanks
