Not much of a test. But was getting the itch to try my new tillage equpment out. I didnt have it set up just right but it seemed to plow good.

I picked up the plow Sept before last and the disk I got at a sale a year ago.
I sure do like fast hitch stuff. makes farming easy.
I think this fall I will plow up about 5 acres for some oats planting next spring.

Looks like a nice outfit to me. Those fast hitch disk harrows are a little hard to come by.

I know. there was no way I was not coming home with this when I saw it at the sale. I have a 12 foot disk I have used with the 400 but it pulls very hard. This 8 footer is just the right size for any thing I am going to be doing.

12' is too much for a 400.

I was told that when I purchased it. And yes 12 footer is too much disk around here. In the sandy stuff I think it would be ok. now I am sure my 706 would be able to handle that 12 footer no problem.

I have a 7 footer for my Super C and an 11 footer that I pull with a 450. I have only used it twice with the 450, but seems to handle it fairly well.
