Now that is the way to take a good photo! 1 - Fill your viewfinder with your subject. 2- Photograph your subject (tractor) from an angle, thus giving "depth" to the subject matter. 3 - Photographing your subject (tractor) with a light overcast sky provides no "hot spots" on the subject (tractor) and shows detail in what otherwise would be dark shadows. 4 - You held the camera level and steady thus yielding a pleasant view and sharp image.
Red is a dominant color and thus the eye is drawn to it, making the Farmall tractor a great subject. Maybe you studied the 4-H Photography project literature?!? A blue ribbon photograph and a very interesting subject. "I am going to have this photo set aside for possible merit award selection. Well done and keep shooting. Now go and enjoy the rest of the fair." Al L. Wisconsin 4-H Photography judge
