Anybody have any info on a IH 354 gas tractor, early 70's vintage, about 40 hp British import. Value? # imported?

It is hard to set a value with not seeing or knowing anything about the tractor. It is basicly the same as the older 424/444 tractors. As for how many I couldn't tell you, they were built to sale here in the states. I will guess that a real good one could be worth anywhere from 3 to 5000 bucks.

georgeky: You say its the same as 424/444 tractors? Same motor size? Any parts interchangeability? This thing was sitting in a garage for 10-15 years, original paint, decals cracked, few minor leaks, runs good.

Dave, nearly all parts are interchangable except the sheet metal. They do have the same engine. New parts are available at Case IH. I assume yours is diesel, if so it has the BD 154 engine in it. If gas I think it is C 144 CI. Well it is really 143.1 or something along those lines.
