Hi Guys, I just bought my first tractor, a 1950 H. the lights are not wired, what gauge wire should I be using to run from the switch to the lights? Also, is the wiring diagram for an A the same as an H? (I haven't gotten my manual yet) By the way, where should I buy a manual, for the most reasonable cost? Thanks!

The link below has wiring diagrams for your Farmall and it also shows the correct wire guage. Click the link below. Andy.

#14 wire will work fine for your lights.

Wiring for an A and H of the same model year should be the same.

Good place to buy a manual at reasonable cost is here on this site! Punch on "Tractor Manuals" at the top left of page, then search for your make/model.

Thanks Bob!

Can anyone tell me how to post a photo in the discussion? I tried yesterday but was unable. I did get a photo of my tractor posted in the galleries section.

The archives list quite a few discussions on posting pictures. Try a search on the top of the page. I've found that the archives are very helpful and a whole lot quicker.
